    High-Level Accountabilities:
    1. Team Management:
      1. Organizing and leading practices.
      2. Developing game strategies and tactics.
      3. Ensuring player development and improvement.
    2. Game Preparation:
      1. Analyzing opponents and developing game plans.
      2. Making in-game decisions and adjustments.
      3. Managing player rotations and substitutions.
    3. Player Development:
      1. Providing individual coaching and feedback.
      2. Monitoring player progress and skill development.
      3. Creating a positive and supportive team environment.
    4. Program Administration:
      1. In conjunction with the Athletic Director, creating a strong and positive environment for current and future program participants.
      2. Scheduling games and practices.
      3. Managing team budget and equipment.
      4. Communicating with players, parents, and school administration.
    5. Mentorship and Catholic Leadership:
      1. Serving as a spiritual and athletic role model for players.
      2. Building teamwork and sportsmanship.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
    • 3-5 years of experience head coaching basketball at the high school level or higher.
    • Commitment to living the Bishop Manogue mission through coaching and encouraging the spiritual and academic development of players as well as athletic growth.
    • Excellent technical knowledge of the game and the development of players.
    • Strong leadership skills and communication.
    • Analytical and problem solving abilities.
    • Excellent knowledge of the rules and regulations of the game.
    • Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administration, NIAA our governing organization, opponents, staff, parents, and students.
    • Commitment to continuous professional development and training for excellence in coaching.
